every medicines you are taking. This includes
prescription and over-the-counter medicines,
and dietary supplements like vitamins. At
least once a year, bring all of your medicines
and supplements with you to your doctor.

sure your doctor knows about any allergies
and adverse reactions you have had to medicines
to help you avoid getting a medicine that
can harm you.
Make
sure that all doctors or health professionals
involved in your care have important health
information about you. It is wrong to assume
that everyone knows everything they need
to know.
Always
remember Doctors treat according to symptoms
told by the patient. It is difficult for
the Doctor to treat a disease unless all
the symtoms are cleared by the patient.
It is wrong to hide anything from the doctors,
it might lead to wrong treatment.
Ask
for the information of your medicines prescribed
and when you receive them make sure you
have a legal bill from the pharmacy which
includes the medicine expiry date and the
Batch number.
Make
sure you understand from the Pharmacist
the perfect dose of each medicines prescribed
by you. Overdose of any medicines might
harm you.
Having
good relationship and regular visit to your
doctor is very important specially when
you are on medication. Actually its the
doctors who can motivate you to keep taking
them in the first place.
There

for a long time. Its very important to visit
your doctor as he/she can review which drugs
you should continue or which drugs should
be stopped.
